An incredibly rare carriage table. Designed for the gentleman or lady who wanted to travel and dine, tables like this would have been packed on the backside of a carriage.From there, the carriage man or butler would have pulled it out to provide “proper” service for the traveler. It is only 23 ½” tall and 22” by 22 ¾” round. Today, its uses are numerous. It is 19th century, probably the latter half. Tables like this simply did not survive.
