Fire Fender With Matching Tools

Fire Fender With Matching Tools

An incredibly rare, fire fender with its original matching tools and arms. This is the only complete set we have ever owned. It starts with the fender which is 44 3/8” wide, 10 ½” tall, and 12” deep. The original feet are in excellent condition. However, it is the piercing and engraving on the body of the fender that is so good eye catching. Next, the original, upright arms slide into place where one sees the tools rest at the top. When the tools are in place, the overall height is 31 ¾”. Finally, the tools are beautifully made and perfectly match the upright arms on the fender. A brass tip on the poker has been worn off through use. English. Circa 1830.
