A beautiful, parcel guilt mirror. Made with English Walnut, the gold leaf decorations really pop on this mirror. Look closely at all of the added extras this mirror has.Start at the exquisite detail of the carved shell on the top. It is original! Then the eye moves to the applied flower, nut, and leaves on the sides. However, it is the carved decoration on the bottom with gold leafing that really steals the show. Overall, this mirror is in outstanding condition. It is 47″ tall and 24 1/2″ wide. The upper left ear was replaced some time ago. Otherwise, not a lot of work has been done to it. This mirror was probably made right around 1760. King George II died in 1760 so it can be called George II or George III.
