Hepplewhite Sideboard – American

Hepplewhite Sideboard – American

A mahogany Hepplewhite sideboard with lots of inlay. If one is looking for a piece that “pops” on a budget, here it is.Overall, it is an impressive piece with delightful inlay. In particular, the top looks great with the double bands of string inlay on rich mahogany. Check out the impressive legs too. In our opinion, the inlay is a 20th century embellishment that was done very well and adds some great “wow” to the piece. Originally, it had two drawers in the middle section. A long time ago, it was expertly modified to the more desirable single drawer style. It is a very desirable size at 71 ¾” wide, 22 3/8” deep, and 40” tall. Made in the states, this nice looking piece was made around 1800-1820.
