Solid Mahogany Dining Room Table

A solid mahogany dining room table with all four original leaves.  The table top does show a bit of wear and use but it is commensurate with the 1855 date.  It is 104″ long when fully extended.  The table is 47 7/8″ wide and 30 3/8″ tall.  We added a bit of height to the bottom of the legs to give more leg space at the foot and head of the table.

The most unusual aspect of the table is the stretcher mechanism under the top.  It is an accordion stretcher.  Late Empire with Victorian influence, Circa 1855.  American.
