Two Pedestal Dining Table

A nice, solid mahogany dining room table with two leaves in the Duncan Phyfe style. This nice table has a wonderfully carved base with acanthus leaves but what sets it apart is the inlaid apron and edges to the top.

The entire edge of the top has barber pole inset inlay. Meanwhile, the apron has string inlay on all sides with fans in the corners on the ends. Overall, the table is 88 ½” long, 4” wide, and 30 ¼” tall. The leaves are replaced but look great. One has a slight defect in the top. The table is marked by Baker and is one of our younger pieces.  It was made somewhere between 1925-1950. American.
