Virginia, Mahogany Breakfront

Virginia, Mahogany Breakfront

This elegant breakfront is made out of mahogany and breaks down into many pieces for easy moving. The secondary wood has been tested is North American White Pine!

This with the red wash on the back point directly to Norfolk, Virginia. It is 90″ tall, 77 3/4″ wide, and 19 3/4″ deep at the center. At the side, the bottom is 14 1/4″ deep and the top is 10″ deep. It is in “as found” condition currently. One can see there is some wear where the two doors where the locks, while thrown locked hit the doors. There appears to be only 1 piece of tiny molding that is missing. The shelves are original. The brass ormolu is an early 20th century embellishment. The center drawer works just fine. Circa 1820-1830
