This sweet, Canton sauce tureen is beautiful. First, it is in perfect condition. The finial and hog’s heads are perfect. The top is a match to the base too. However, the best part of this piece is its size. It is only 6 1/2″ long. Standing 4″ tall and 4 7/8″ wide, this piece of Chinese export is adorable. This would be a jewel in any collection. Circa 1880.
