Assortment of Single Decanters

Assortment of Single Decanters

Four of an assortment of decanters we recently purchased from an estate. All of these are in good order with no cracks or breaks. All exhibit some wear. More than likely, they were all made in England. Starting from the left:

A Prussian form decanter with Greek key band, shoulder and basal finger flutes. Small amount of discoloration on the bottom. 9 ¾” tall by 3 ¼” in diameter. A very elegant piece. Circa 1785-1810. $225

A cylinder form decanter. Hand cut with applied neck rings. It is 11” tall and 4.5” diameter. The stopper is outstanding on this one. This particular decanter shows a bit more wear than some of the others. Circa 1820-1850. $145

A cylinder form decanter. Hand cut with applied neck rings. It is 10” tall and 4.5” diameter. A great piece. Circa 1820-1850. $195

A Prussian form decanter with shoulder and basal finger flutes. The fluting really catches the eye. It is 9 3/8” tall by 4” in diameter. A beautiful piece. Circa 1785-1810. $225
