A wonderful Chinese export mug decorated in polychrome enamels and gold. It has a precise rope and ring band with gold highlights. The wave of disconnected flowers under the band is beautiful.It features five medallions of fust flowers. The bold leaf base band really stands out. Lastly, the molded handle has two appliquéd hearts. Overall, it has a tapered, cylindrical shape. It is 6 1/2″ tall and the base is 5 1/8″ in diameter. Qianlong period. 18th century.
