A gorgeous, flame mahogany end table. Sporting two drawers with the top being fitted, this table has a lot going on. First thing one notices are all of the vibrant, flame mahogany veneers. The top and drawer fronts are covered in them. Next, one notices the replaced glass knobs. They give it a very interestingly, modern, feel to it. The juxtaposition between the classic lines and the glass is great! Lastly, the turned base and Federal feet are a knock out! Look closely at the wonderfully carved acanthus leaves on the legs…WOW! All in all, this table is magnificent. It has been refinished and the pulls are replaced. It is 18 7/8″ deep and 28 3/8″ tall. With the leaves down it is 20 1/4″ wide but with up each leaves give them an additional 9 3/4″ in width. Either one leaf can be used independently or together. There is a small repair on the top front, right corner. It can clearly be seen in the pictures and should not deter anyone from using this piece. American. Circa 1830
