A lovely pair of Chinese vases. This shape is called a “moon flask” vase. Based on the flasks of the day, a pair is always sought after.This pair features a white tree with leaves and flowers on a field of blue. Each flask features a pair of dragons at the neck of the vase. The vases do taper from the top, 2 ¼” diameter, down to their widest at the base, 3” in diameter. They are a great size at 7 7/8” wide and 12” tall. Overall, they are in outstanding shape. Circa 1880
