A sweet Bachelor’s Chest made around 1775 in England with its original linen slide. Constructed out of mahogany, the size helps make this piece. It is only 34 1/2″ wide, 20 1/4″ deep, and 32 3/4″ tall. Overall, the mahogany is in good shape. It does show some wear on the top and sides. The top has two repairs. One is very difficult to see while the one on the back left corner is visible. (See pictures) The top does have the original applied moulding! Furthemore ,the drawer pulls may be replaced but the ring pulls on the linen slide do appear to be original. Lastly, the feet are original. English Oak secondary. Circa 1775
