A beautifully, hand carved Oak sideboard. Made in the early 20th century, this piece really is something to see. First, the mirror back with carved crest just grab the eye.Next, the curved supports for the shelf bring a softness to the piece one doesn’t expect. Then, the carving on the bottom doors and feet demand attention. It is at this point that one notices the bowed/curved front. It really is amazing that it takes this long for one to notice the element. Next, the wood. WOW! Look at all of the quarter saw oak. It is everywhere on the front and top of this sideboard. Lastly, one sees the pretty, original hardware. It is beautiful! Overall, it is 51” wide, 24” deep, and 78” tall. American. Circa 1910.
