Chippendale Shaving Stand
An eye popping shaving stand with inlay. At first, the satin wood drawer fronts stop the eye. Upon closer examination, there is a wonderfully delicate inlay all over the stand. The crest at the top of the mirror is in excellent condition. The finials appear to be an old replacement while the rest of the brass appears to be original. The feet are replaced. This is some minor veneer and inlay repairs. The most noticeable is the front left corner. (see picture) Overall, this piece is in excellent, working order. English. Circa 1785-1800.
