Early Queen Anne Chair
A beautiful Queen Anne side chair. This chair is made out English Walnut and is lovely. The shaped back is referred to as a “violin back”. Look closely at the stretcher base and the rear feet. The block-like feet and stretchers plus the style of back allows us to date this chair easily and early at Circa 1740. The back stands 39” tall which is a nice size for a chair. English.
