A beautiful, Imari vase featuring a bamboo forest. This decoration was perfected by Fukagawa. One can see the bamboo moving in the wind and feel the breeze on one’s face when admiring this vase.The light touch of color and movement are just superb! This piece is a nice size at 8 1/4″ tall and 4 1/2″ wide. The sides are ribbed too. All in all, this is a beautiful piece that carries a lot of presence. It has been examined by a blacklight. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Imari. Japanese. Circa 1900.
