Irish Tea Table

An Irish, Chippendale ball and claw tea table with great old finish.  The top is one board and the edge is moulded in the dish top form.  It is 31″ wide and 19 1/2″ deep.

The legs have beautiful acanthus leaf carvings which extend over 1/3 of their total length.  The shell carving in the middle of the apron is well executed.  The table is 28 1/8″ tall.  The original feet are well carved too.  Most likely Irish.  Circa 1770.
