A nice, mahogany bow front chest. This is your classic, bow front chest. Standing 39 1/2″ tall, 24″ deep, and 42 5/8″ wide, this classic design is ready to go.Originally, bow front and serpentine chests were made to store large platters and serving pieces. Intended the dining room or living room, one finds them in foyers to bed rooms today. This particular one has been restored by us. It does show a bit of wear, as seen in the pictures, but doesn’t seem any worse for it. The drawer runners have been restored so the drawers work well.
