Masonic Tea Caddy

Masonic Tea Caddy

This nice Hepplewhite “tea caddy” has beautiful inlay all over it. On top of that, it has Masonic symbols inlaid into the front. Anything Masonic is highly sought after by collectors.

Add to that, the original feet, hardware, and unseal interior and one has a great box! To be honest, the form is that of a tea caddy. However, the interior configuration is so unusual it may have been used for Masonic rights or storage of Masonic items. It is 11″ wide, 5 1/2″ deep, and 5 3/8″ tall. English. Circa 1790.
