Melon Tea Caddy, Circa 1810
A rare melon tea caddy, Circa 1810. Melon tea caddies are one of the most difficult to find and would be a jewel in any collection.The exterior has been beautifully restored. Additionally, the interior has been relined at the same time. The work was done in London. The silver color is close to what would it would have looked like originally. It appears to retain the original lock and key! The stem on the top appears to be original too. It stands 6 1/2″ tall. English. Circa 1810.
