Pair of Imari Lamps

Pair of Imari Lamps

A beautiful pair of Imari vases that have been converted into lamps. The quality of the vases is simply excellent.

Each lamp has a choice of three people or a beautiful pair of peacocks.  Look closely, each vase is a mirror of the other.  This allows for the people pictured to be positioned looking at each other, away from each other, or in the same direction. What great flexibility! Overall, they stand 27 1/2″ tall(finial) and 14 ” diameter(shade).  Each vase is 12″ tall and 6 3/4″ diameter. The bold colors point toward the end of the 19th century. They are in excellent condition and show no issues. Japanese. Circa 1885-1895.
