A lovely, mahogany tall case clock. Commonly referred to as a grandfather clock, it features a broken arch on the bonnet, half columns and domed door on the waist, and a paneled base.It has a nice warm, glossy feel to the finish. It never had a finial on the bonnet. This clock is signed on the dial “H(enry) Daniel, Liverpool”. He is a documented clock maker. It stands a nice 85” tall, 20 ½” wide, and 10 ¼” deep. The 8 day works have been restored and are in working order. English. Circa 1830.
