Look at the bend in the back! WOW!!
This is a wonderful set of 6 Windsor chairs with square, bent backs. The backs bend at toward the top and give the chairs a great look. Additionally, it makes them more comfortable. As one can see, they do have wear but each one is sound.These chairs are in excellent condition and have been painstakingly reglued by us. The exact combination of carved elements and design point to Massachusetts as their origin. The combination also points to an early creation. All in all, they are quite pretty and thanks to the bend in the back, very comfortable. Circa 1800-1820.
