Pair of Beaker Vases

A nice pair of “Beaker” vases in the Chinese style. Chinese styles were the epitome of class during the 18th and 19th centuries. As a result, Europe copied the style.The overall shape is a “beaker vase”. The decorations are in accordance with what the Chinese were doing around the turn of the 19th century. The most well known copier of this style was Samson in France. These certainly have the style and feel of his work but they are not marked. Thus, we can only attribute them to him. Overall, they stand 12” tall and have a diameter of 6” at the top. They are in perfect condition and are beautiful. French. Circa 1880.
