This is arguably the most desirable engraving of Richmond, VA. Made by J. W. Hill around 1854, this piece pictures the city right before the Civil War.Look closely and one will see just how industrious the city was. While the engraving does have a bit of staining, it is in very good condition. The frame is 12 5/8″ by 9 3/4″ and the image is 8 1/8″ by 5 1/4″. It has been reframed in acid free board.
