This beautiful hanging corner cupboard has a lot going for it. First, it has extensive inlay. Look at all the string inlay on the sides with the black spandrels in each corner.The cornice features Greek dentil work over top of three inlaid panels and the door has 13 glass panes. Inlay work of this caliber is seldom seen on hanging corner cupboards. It is 47 ¼” tall and needs a 22 ½” corner. This is an absolutely beautiful piece. The only “knock” on the piece is some discoloration on the edges and some repairs. All most likely due to improper storage at an earlier point in its life. All in all, this is a stunning piece at a great price. Chippendale. English. Circa 1780.
