A stunning Imari bowl with bold blue colors. The blue is so vibrant. It is enhanced by applied gold decoration which does show some wear from use on the inside.The scenes are of nature and are quite beautiful. The exterior of the bowl is outstanding with very little gold loss. Lastly, bottom of the bowl has the blue Koran Sha (Koransha) mark of Fukagawa which always means quality of the highest degree. It is 9 3/4″ deep and 4″ tall. Japanese. Circa 1895.
