If one is looking to make a statement, go no further. This is a striking, architectural corner cupboard. It is a two part piece that features a single door on top and bottom. Both the base and cornice are original.The top features a beautiful glazed door with individual panes, Greek dental work and fluted pilasters. The lower portion has raised panel shelf with a pull out shelf above it. The base, or feet, is original. The finish has a nice look to it and appears to be original. The hardware looks great but the escutcheon are probably early replacements. It is 7’ 9 ¼” tall and it takes a 38” corner at the cornice on the left and a 37” corner on the right. All in all, it is a breath taking piece! Mahogany with Deal secondary. English. Circa 1790.
