A nice document box that was made before the Civil War. Standing 71 /2” tall, it is 16 ¾” wide and 10” deep. The top features figured mahogany and tiger maple. The base is original. Overall, it is a nice box and is American.  Circa 1825-1860.

A Gold Leaf Mirror

A stunning, gold leaf mirror. WOW! That’s what one says upon seeing this mirror for the first time. The frame is just…wow! It hangs 38 ½” by 33 ¼” on the wall. It can be hung vertically or horizontally. The gold leaf appears to be original. Dating around 1890-1920, this piece is a show stopper.
