This is a sweet, Chippendale drop leaf table. It is an outstanding size at 28” tall, it is only 35 ¾” wide and 14” deep. Overall, it appears to retain its old finish with a nicely waxed top. The top does have a little bit of wear and pictures of this wear can clearly be seen below. However, the wear is significantly more noticeable under the flash of a camera than it is in natural lighting. The center of the top is a shade darker than the rest of the top too. This is common on drop leaves as the leaves are usually hanging down and have less wear. Lastly, it features ball and claw feet. It is very difficult to find table this petite with great feet like this one. It is beautiful and ready for a new home. Deal secondary. English. Circa 1760.
