A beautiful Chinese export mug decorated in polychrome enamels and gold. It has large cell-diaper background. It features a large central, scalloped medallion and four smaller medallions on the sides. Each features floral sprays. The handle has a feathered design painted on it. Overall, this mug has a baluster shape. It is 4 3/8″ tall and the top opening is 3 3/8″ in diameter. Qianlong period. 18th century.
